Social Affairs launched its first special issue celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the University of Peradeniya on December 25, 2017.
The issue contains works on the research legacy of the university, its progress through the years from the lenses of numerous faculty members, as well as a reproduction of the inaugural speech delivered by Sir Ivor Jennings – its first Vice Chancellor – illustrating the vision and mission of this great seat of higher learning.
